Wow, I just got done reading this puppy, all, hehe get this, SIXTY NINE pages of it.

Thanks Just Me for posting and zipping the file.

I read the whole thing. It's alot to digest. I have 28 more reasons to be happy this weekend. If you look at the Sundance ruling, most of this territory has been covered. This is a hail mary pass thrown by the DOJ. It's not going to work. It didn't before and it's not going to now especially after they basically dismissed everything that the 10th Court of Appeals set as precedent in Sundance.

Janet Reno got the scolding of her tenure from the Tenth Circuit judges. I'd be very interested to see what they have to say to Alberto Gonzales.

As most of you know, a lawsuit was filed on Thursday by the Free Speech Coalition and others in Denver, challenging 2257 across the board, as well as particular parts of it. A hearing on the plaintiffs’ application for a temporary restraining order (i.e., an emergency injunction) will be Thursday, June 23rd at 1:30 PM Denver time.

As some of you are aware, because the District of Colorado is in the 10th Circuit, the judge is not at liberty to depart from the Sundance decision, which is the one that held that the record-keeping requirements could only be applied to “primary producers”, which are those involved in actually taking the pictures or arranging for the performers. Thus, there is significant optimism that at least the aspect of the regulations requiring secondary producers to keep and index, etc., records will be stopped.
Talk about the last minute (well 14 hours after the last minute )

So basically, if you havent got your shit in order by the start of the case on the 23rd...

You have broken the law and could be subject to prosecution

Gotta love the timing there

    Regards,

    Lee
