Anyone Know What The Largest Capacity CDRom Is?

We have a bunch of files that are 780mb in size and we only have 700mb cd's LOL

Anyone know if there is such a thing as a 800+ cdrom?

Why not pick up a dual side burner dvd/cdrw drive? you can put over 8 gig on a dvd blank ... and the units are out there now for around 50 bucks. Cheap upgrade.

Your mileage may vary on "overburning" discs. Not all burners read or burn that far to the edge of the disc. If you have a somewhat modern burner you'll likely be ok, but there's always that small risk.

I would go with Bec's suggestion. I have a DVD burner and its not dual but I can still store a bit over 4 gigs. You should consider the upgrade. It is well worth it ! I Love my DVD burner

I have a dual layer dvd burner and works well, but the dual layer dvd's are expensive. They average about $10-$15 each. But they will hold 8.9 gig of information. And you can still use the single layer dvd's with it.

Well damn.. We just picked up some 1.4gig cdroms dont think we'll be having a problem writing this file to those suckers hahahaha
