    Custom Coding

    Hi Everyone,

Just a quick question for you all.

As part of our business plan we will be developing off-the-shelf applications or modules for websites.

Is there anything you can think of that you would like to see developed (no obligation for purchase when completed)?

    Thanks,

    Allan

an inexpensive, easy to use (!) cms. most are more than complicated, and have lots of features most of us smaller webmasters don't need.

i agree. a good, solid, easy-to-use CMS that isn't gonna cost $5000. i would write one myself and give it out if i had the time... ugh....

on the more tech-nerd side of things, i'm still looking for a simple C++ library to handle CGI I/O. (i don't want to use fastCGI or whatever, i need something very, very simple)

    options

    options to costs of production.

ideally both - server based and desktop.

i have a program from digi-net.com but i am not happy with it so have not deployed it into my network.

some off the shelf programs offer video etc, but are not easy for the end user to use - some use flash, i like to keep away from that.

i want a product that connects to my mysql database, allows members to add and remove - chat, send offline messages - all msn functions really.

Yes! One that can handle multiple domains and idiot proof to setup stuff! - and affordable.

Well we have a custom CMS that we had written which, hopefully, will be available sometime towards the end of this year.

Its not going to cost much either

We're currently beta testing it right now so will let ya'll know when its available for purchase

    Regards,

    Lee
