Straight Jacket - the movie

I just hired this dvd last night. Its set in the 1940s or 1950s, about a gay actor who marries his secretary to keep his studios and the media happy. Of course the secretary does not realize she her marriage is fake. And after he is married, he ends up finding the true love of his life and they have to hide their relationship.

This was a great movie because it was done as a comedy and looked at the lighter side of the situation, but at the same time being somewhat historically accurate and making its point. One thing I really loved about the movie was the way it integrated shots from TheSims video game into the film, like his mansion.

caught this movie at the queer film festival =) quite funny, interesting an unique style of movie but i think it ended up being abit unrealistic... i still enjoyed it tho =)

i didn't even realise that the cg home was from the sims 2! [granted i only got the game last week], i'll have to rent the dvd and get screencaps so i can re-create that house... it was awesome!! ** :groovy:
