We need new video equipment and need some suggestion. Also do you use both a camera and video camera or just a video camera and grab the still pics?
Thanks,
Mark

i'd shoot both videos and stills. i have found that high rez stills are appreciated by members a lot.
i don't know your price range, or what quality you want to work with. i have the Panasonic PV-GS250. you can read all about it here with samples. we took it to the beach today, and it was super foggy, but it still got some nice stuff - looked good, even foggy.

here's their entire list. i liked sony's stabalization the best, canon the best overall, and panasonic for their video quality.
if i were buying a still camera right now, i'd probably go with the canon rebel. here's one http://reviews.cnet.com/Canon_EOS_Di...-31309326.html and i know a lot of pro photographers who use the rebel as a second camera.

here's a comparison of two canons. the one on the right costs more, but it sounds pretty darned nice.
Some good buys on Ebay for the Panasonic
