Frame Grabs...What Do You Think Of These?

so i'm trying to perfect the art of frame grabs but i'm not sure if i'm happy with the results so far.

Here are two frame grabs. The second is just a modified version of the first one that tried to edit in photoshop (just basic brightness, contrast, intensity adjustments).

What do you guys think? Can i improve the original to any greater degree? I'd really appreciate it if someone could play around with the original and post their final result if that's possible.

BTW...how can i possibly get amazing results like the last frame grab from a popular website ? I think we're using the same (or maybe they've upgraded now) camcorder (Sony VX2000)

and this is what i'd like to aim for. It's totally sharp and the color is perfect. You can see the smallest details, like the hair on his legs.

IMHO, other than the curtains in the 2nd pic looking a bit brighter i cant really tell the difference LOL

I think the second one has a little more contrast that's all
