Anyone Looking For Work In San Francisco?

SAN FRANCISCO - Titan Media, leading all-male adult multimedia producer, is seeking a full-time, in-house public relations and marketing person, Keith Webb, Titan VP of sales and marketing told GAYVN.com today.

"We have grown to a point that I can no longer handle all our PR needs myself," said Webb. "With our recent expansion into new worldwide markets and self-distribution my time and energy are focused elsewhere, and I just can't keep up with all the exciting new things happening at Titan!"

According to Webb, the position will include writing and distribution of press releases, placement of stories and articles in various trade and consumer publications, booking and "babysitting" of exclusive models for personal appearances at charity/fundraising and trade events, liaison with industry and consumer groups to expand the TitanMen brand exposure, interface with various nonprofit and charitable groups to support HIV/AIDs and safer-sex education programs, and represent the TitanMen brand at public events.

"The ideal candidate," he said, "would have industry background, with a focus on the gay market, and have working knowledge of all the major players. Established relationships within the gay industry is highly desirable, but not required. TitanMedia is an equal opportunity employer and women are encouraged to apply. The position would be based in the new Titan Media offices located in the South of Market district of San Francisco, and would report directly to Keith Webb, VP of Sales/Marketing."

Interested applicants should send their resumes in .pdf or .doc format directly to Keith via email at Keith@TitanMedia.com. Please do not phone or fax, email only. Salary commensurate with experience. Yearly increase based on performance, skills, and attitude. Benefits include fully paid health insurance, fully paid retirement plan, paid vacation/sick time. TITAN Media is an equal opportunity employer and a drug-free workplace.

That sounds like a great opportunity for the right person although, i cant help but think that is more 2 positions rolled in to one.

A marketing manager and a talent manager.

Actually, in rereading it, I think that it *is* really a PR position; the only interaction with the models is at charitable and other events where Titan wants visibility, and that would be the role of a PR person.

We use a production assistant (sometimes two) to help corral and babysit the models when we're dong a 5 or 7 person shoot 'cause trying to get 7 gay bois at the right place at the right time is rather like herding cats... but that's sometimes a freelance person and sometimes one of our staff that has other responsibilities when we're not shooting content. I don't know for sure, but I'd guess that most production companies, particularly smaller ones, prolly have several positions that are rolled into one
