Windows Media DRM Problem

OK.. so I've got a customer who tells me that he's getting a "Page Not Found" error when he tries to watch our DRM protected files, but the ones that aren't protected, he's having no problems with at all.

I'm assuming that he's installed something like DIVX that's screwing with the DRM.

Does anyone know (or know where to find) a solution to this?

Make sure he has the latest version of the Media Player. Older versions will not work

The registration process could be causing the problem (page not found) try cutting and pasting the long URL into another browser.

MS IE 3.x or the internal AOL 3.0 browser will not work.

If the server is overburdened they will get the page not found error with DRM

...what squirt said, plus make sure he is online when trying to acquire the license! Also ask him to turn off any firewalls / proxies / anonymity software & try again. Finally, check his account/ip/etc is not being blocked by the drm software already - it could be blocked due to too many invalid attempts.

Every once in awhile a user will join our site at HDK which should allow him to watch our DRM'd streams, but for one reason or another, even tho his username and password allows him into the HDK site, the username and password doesn't get passed over to the DRM company, (we use DRM Networks), and we have to go in an add the user manually in the DRM control panel. Once we add his username and password manually, he then has no problem accessing all of our DRM'd content.
