How about you guys? Did you join a porn site before you got in the business, or just surf free stuff? If you did join, how long did you stay a member? What made you cancel? Do you still join porn sites now?

I think the answers to these questions should be interesting, and maybe give a clue as to how us paysite owners can better retain our members.

i never surfed porn or joined a porn site. i got onto the web to promote our already existing adult business.

but i have been in a lot of paysites, and i know what i find easiest and most appealing. simple navigation is my favorite thing, along with enough content within the niche of the site. add frequent updates, and i'm happy.

there are exceptions - i was in the member area of a chain of muscle sites, and the content is SO good, even spectacular, that even the massively confusing navigation couldn't kill the site for me. it was like art, the broadband videos were huge, and so clear and beautiful!

The first site I joined was AdultCheck. I then joined U*GAS after I realized that I was gay, . And until I became a webmaster I never joined a regular paysite. That's probably why I'm still and AVS webmaster to this day.
