Be careful using paypal to receive your payment, they will yank your account. Mainly if people put their website in the note area. It is a way for them to see it is a adult website if they have no other way to find out.
    Thanks,
    Jacob

his paypal email is a domain with escorts. paypal will yank his account anyway.

besides, who wants to be opened in an iframe? it's a great way to make no sales, not to mention if someone booksmarks your site in an iframe, they end up bookmarking the site hosting the frame.

i think you're missing my point... the email address you're using
    admin@midwestmale.com
goes to a site with adult content on it. it might take paypal a day, a month, or a year, but some day they will check out midwestmale.com, and you'll wake up and your account will be closed. and so will the accounts of people doing business with you.

Basschick is correct. I have actually spoken with one of the executives a few times with Paypal / eBay over this. Paypal cannot have anything to do with an adult company for fear of Visa / their transaction processor / the acquiring bank pulling their merchant account. They have to make a lot of people happy for.

To give you an idea on how it is with Paypal. Let's say I am a hosting company. I have a merchant account and we support Paypal. You are using me as your hosting providers and you have two websites - www.midwestmale.com and www.aboutme.com. Aboutme.com is mainstream and no porn / illicit images. I can accept Paypal from you for aboutme.com but I cannot accept Paypal for midwestmale. You would have to use a credit card thru my merchant account.

    Matt,

Just a friendly tip. Your site technically isn't 2257 compliant. While you have 2257 statements and what not, according to the law you need to have the following phrase on your homepage:

    18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement

This phrase needs to link to your 2257 information.

Also, this phrase needs to be in a 12-point font or no smaller than the second largest font used on your homepage.

I know it's picky, but that's the way the law is written and until it's struck down or challenged, webmasters better heed to it by the letter. The new 2257 regs are going to nab many more sites for picky stuff like this than for actually getting people who have illegal content on their sites.

    Cheers

And that is my point, please re-read my post.

The law says you must have this exact phrase on your page:

    "18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement"

It doesn't say put a link that says "Hall of Records."

You don't have it, technically speaking, you're in violation of the law.

    good catch, Dzinerbear.

Matt, ya gotta have the exact words
    18 U.S.C. 2257 Record-Keeping Requirements Compliance Statement
on your site or if they start checking for this stuff, you could go to jail.
