Has anyone from US government made a public denouncing yet? I heard some groups contacted Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice for her denounce the killings but she as far as I know still hadn't say a thing. It is pathetic that there isn't more outrage over this. I can almost guarantee if they were killed for being christians Bush would make a public denouncing and want to go to war with them.

I was shocked at how little coverage there has been about this story over here in the UK too. The attitude seems to be, "that's their culture - leave them to it". Very sad. And very hypocritical because on non-gay issues, such as the oppression of women, or apartheid in South Africa, 'The West' is happy to impose its views on other regimes. Is homophobia still an acceptable prejudice?
