Looking for distribution company to market my new movie...

Hello,

this is my first post here. I was contacted by someone from this web site recently who let me know about this forum and asked if I was interested in posting once in a while and I agreed. I have been a porn actor for 5 years now and appeared in 9 adult movies so far. Recently, I also started to produce and direct my own productions.

I have just finished editing my first movie as a director in which I also star. I have decided to post here because I am looking for a distribution company who might be interested in marketing the movie. Since I have paid for everything myself (my budget is very limited), I don't have much left to do the distribution alone and I would like to find a company willing to help me.

Since the movie is completed (doing the soundtrack right now which should also be finished soon), the company who would be willing to take on this project would only have to invest in the marketing and distribution aspect. The movie, a porn which is called "Utopia" is 1 hour 53 minutes long and is quite different from the usual porn fare. It contains a lot of special effects and sophisticated editing as it took me a full year and a half to achieve in post-production.

There are already 4 clips taken from the movie called "Utopia" available for free (no membership required in any way) on my web site:

I was looking for a release date this year if everything goes will but definitely have to find the right distribution company before that becomes possible. If anyone out there can help me in any way (advice, contacts, etc...), I would greatly appreciated. Any feedback would also be welcomed.

So far as a distributor goes, i mentioned to CuriousBunny in his thread about sending a PM across to AndyMike, he used to own (not sure if he still does) a distribution company and, im sure he would be able to point you in the right direction, one way or the other

thank you all so much for those quick replies. I don't know who AndyMike is but if he owns a distribution cie, I would be very interested in getting in touch with him. I am also interested in hearing more about "AMVC" which I had never heard about, much less have a way of contacting them. So Mindy, if you can help me in any way, I would greatly appreciate it. Also, thanks to everyone who took the time to post a response and to Bec who sent my clips to a couple of people who might be able to help, you're a lifesaver.

I realize that even though my movie is almost finished (except for the soundtrack), the hard part will be to sell it. Any small step that gets me closer to that gives me renewed hope that it will happen. Finally, sorry if I can't post here as often as I would like but I am sure you know, when we work in that field, the schedule is usually very tight, no pun intended! But I will try to post as often as I can.
