It was a great night, actually, and I hope that something like that becomes a semi-regular thing around here.. it's great to get us all together and networking and just hanging out..
we're gonna have to stick together in the coming months, and even the simple act of introducing yourself to people and having a drink is going to make a big difference..

And it was nice to go somewhere within walking distance so I could enjoy a few more sour apple martini's then I am usually able to when I drive. MiamiB, I saw you there (I have a thing for shaved heads, how could I not notice you) but like a lot of parties, I got into so many converstions that I didn't get around to meet all the people I had wanted to. And by the time I made my way around the crowd to introduce myself you had already gone.

And yes, I agree with Jasun, we need to do stuff like this more often. Even if it's not an organized sponsored party (not that I mind GMP throwing free drinks and prizes at us, LOL), but a random get together at a local watering hole is fine as well. We've got a great local gay webmaster community, why not make the most of it?
