eh...that's not eye candy imo. I figured at these parties they had some REALLY hot guys (you know, REAL men, Andy Dill kinda guys), naked or almost naked, serving drinks or something. Not average, shaved, dime a dozen "star tattoo" guys looking bored with each other but fucking anyway, in front of a large group of people no less. Sounds wierd and ackward, for everyone, to me.

I thought, considering gay men and women are behind these events, they would be all about sensuality and atmosphere, not just cock and ass.

Did I get the wrong impression? It all just seems so...straight!

Yeah, I've rarely seen any of those kinds of guys at any parties that I've attended. But I think the thing you have to remember is this: The companies who are putting on the parties are trying to promote their sites and the models, generally speaking, are probably reflective of what's available on their site. Perhaps there's the odd Michael Brandon type thrown in for name-dropping effect. If I were hosting a Universal Bear party, you'd be finding bears and hairy men, and that wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but it's my party and if you want to drink my free booze, eat my free food, and take my free shuttle, then live with it. (Actually, truth be told, I'd throw in a few twinks, too, just to keep everyone happy, but that's me.)

In January I attended the Q-Fest party put on by Pride Bucks, and the guys there weren't my taste, but I thought the idea of doing a photo shoot was a cool idea. So I didn't get off on the guys, it was one of the best parties I've been to, and as I've reminded Harlan many times since, I picked up one of the guests who also wasn't into the talent.

You can't please everyone. Besides, you're supposed to be there networking.

I know the companies behind these parties put huge amounts of work and planning into them, and they have to be fun or nobody would go. All I was saying is the guys aren't my taste, and they look bored.

Note that I called the post "InterNext SEX Pics". Much, much more was happening at the Internext parties than just naked flesh and sex. Drinks, food, lots of great conversations and networking and attractive semi-clad men. In fact, it was very easy to avoid the explicit stuff and keep things on a more flirtatious or professional level if anyone wanted to. The parties offered something for everyone. BTW, the Cybersocket events had no explicit stuff happening at them and during the day there were seminars, a show floor and pool-side networking.

I just thought some people might be interested in the sex pics my partner and I took. And the boys at the parties were to our taste.

We missed that party because no buses showed up at the Boardwalk. I was really disappointed because I was really looking forward to that party. It was good to see you in Florida.

SLS - you don't expect to find naked guys at these shows who will be really hot. Set your expectations properly. The guys at these shows all look just like the guys you'll see walking around your chic local gay dance bar.

It is usually difficult for me to explain to my friends that I go to these things and not have any sex. They are first and foremost business shows.

Well - this time I've just had to show some of the pics to people and they get a better picture. Yesterday I was showing my friend Never2busy the fubarwebmasters photos, and he said "why are there just white people there?"

And today my friend cummycub said "It's all white people, you must have been bored." hehe well not really bored. But not too difficult to fall into serious sexual temptations.

Bradley and myself really enjoyed meeting you at the Pridebucks party and again at our BoogieNights party. You are as hot as your posts.

Anyway, being as pleasant as I can be (and Lee, PLEASE don't yell at me, you know I don't do these things) our bus transportation for Boogie Nights was set up many weeks ago and confirmed in writing and by phone each of three days prior to Saturday and another three times on Sat alone. There were three 49 seat buses shuttliing between the Diplomat and our studio every 24 minutes and between the Jackhammer (behind the Boardwalk) every 10 minutes between 10:30PM until midnight or later. Each bus had the proper signs ready to go, etc. None of the "bus problems" just happened by chance. "Someone" fraudulently cancelled our bus service, told the transportation company there was a change of plans, the party was cancelled and to take everyone back from the Boardwalk to the Diplomat. An investigation with the transportation company and local law enforcement is now under way. Well, the cuplrit got one bus load back with 68 guys protesting all the way. There was actually a riot on the other two buses going back to the Diplomat and the bus drivers were scared and called the dispatch who called Bradley and that's when we discovered what was going on and he quickly turned those buses back to our party. Our Banana buddy already had given us a heads up when he turned up at a party in a cab. After speaking to many guys we know we found out that the most likely culprit is an alcoholic, addicted, bloated, webmaster whose business is going down the tubes faster than his Tequilla shots. He was so desperate to get those Boardwalk webmasters back the hotel for his purposes that he stooped to committing a potentially criminal act. But here's notice to all: WE ARE NOT GOING AWAY! End of story. In ten years on the net we never asked anyone for permission to do business or when and where to do it and no one ever asked us to join with them, so we're certainly not changing our ways now. Our appologies to all the guys who didn't get to come to Boogie Nights - you'll just have to meet us (and we're really nice, honest guys -ask Lee and Gary and others) at even more adventurous private parties in the VERY near future. This unfortunate incident has spurred us on to even bigger and better surprises and more and more websites with legit affiliate payouts that go on forever. P.S. For you guys who will finger me as a trouble maker, I appologize in advance. But an explanation was needed for those who keep asking us. Hal thanks for the explaination. I can not believe someone would do such a thing. I knew something was wrong when 3 buses showed up at the boardwalk and they were all going to the Diplomat and there was already one bus going there. I hope the person who did this is prosecuted in some way, I hate people like that. I do have a suggestion for anyway having parties, I think you should have an emergency contact number incase something goes wrong or have a rep on each bus.
