Quick Time converter

Do any of you guys know of a converter that will deal with my mpeg files

What type of mpeg?

Quicktime itself will convert from mpeg4.

It's in the pro version. Open the mpeg in Quicktime and then choose Export from the file menu.

I converted about 200 of those last week, so I know it by heart! :cry:

i went to the quicktime pro page last week, and it said you hadda have a mac. is that true - 'cause i don't have a mac.

sorenson squeeze makes quicktimes - nice, small, good quality ones.

We're running it on various PCs. You don't need a mac.

Quality is fine. The only thing is that the file sizes are a little bit larger than would be ideal.

Basschick, which version of sorenson did you go for, the $199 or the $400+ version ?

Fiddle with the settings though. They don't need to be as big as they are with the default settings.

i believe the $199 version is an upgrade, and does not work as a standalone.
