You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

Opening A Dialogue With Potential Models - Any Tips?

So we're getting ready to start producing some of our own content and were hoping that some of you had some hints / tips that would help us when approaching the subject of what we'll actually need the models to do on camera.

Do you just jump right in and tell them you want them to fuck / suck / jack off etc or do you ease them in to that slowly? LOL

I realize that for the most part, the guys who answer the ads pretty much already have an idea that they will need to be naked, cock in hand but, have you found any specific method of telling the models exactly what you want them to do work better than others?

    Regards,

    Lee

It might be an idea to go through a few photo sets that you already have in your inventory and start building a script as it were.

Things that you see other models doing. Review the list before the shoot so things are fresh in your mind. If you have a list of stuff handy while your shooting, you can always take a quick glance at it to refresh your memory.

And of course, if you're really stuck or on the spot, just start getting the model to do stuff that really turns you on. Think of it as your own private show.

It's up to the planets and the stars...

Be honest and up front. Ask them what they would like to do, what they get into. And, ask them what they don't like to do (write it down so you remember not to try and get them to do something they hate doing or can't do).

Because we shoot BareBack films, we devote ample time in the interview to discuss all aspects, risks, hazards, etc. regarding non-condom sexual interaction. We make certain that the performer comprehends all aspects of these issues and has a clear understanding of our expectations.

Let them know if you expect anything demanding like soaking in a hot tub for 8 hours, or cumming 10x or doing excessive "B" roll or something...

We try to put their minds at ease and let them know that it will be a closed set and the size of the crew, etc.

Above all, ask them what kind of guys they are into and who their preferred screen partner might be. Show them some photos of the guy(s) they might be working with.

We let them know how to prepare before they arrive at the shoot, and what will happen at the shoot, how long they are expected to work, how the scene will progress (if it's scripted).

We discuss all the money and contract issues up-front... and get them to sign at the shoot.

On set, we always give our guys a chance to warm up... this is when we know if there is any chemistry.

We have a short list of questions we ask that end up in our data base. This helps to match performers for projects.

It's ok to check out the merchandise before letting them leave the interview but, we suggest resisting temptation (at least until after the shoot). We leave it up to the guys in terms of how far they want to go to show off thier assets. Sometimes but, not always, if the prospective model can't get a hard on in front of you, it's fair to expect problems on the set. This could be due to nerves, not being prepared, not getting turned on or last night's drug...

In my opinion, it all adds up to the alignment of the stars, planets and your position in the universe at the time of the shoot!

PS, always have back-up performers and scenarios if things don't go according to plan...

    enjoy...

    Tony
