    I bought a new truck!!!

Well... took the plunge today. Got myself a new truck.

    Chevrolet Suburban 1500 Z71 4x4

    5.3L V8 295HP engine

Z71 is essentially the Tahoe/Suburban's offroad package. Offroad suspension, rear locking differential, skidplate.

Power steering, power drivers seat with memory, premium Bose sound system with 6 disc changer, DVD entertainment system, leather seating, tinted windows, power doors, cruise control, front and second row bucket seats, premium wheels, dual front airbags, power windows, A/C, running boards, 4-wheel ABS, XM satellite radio. All kinds of fun sh it

YAYYYY!!! here's a pic =P It's kinda a crappy pic cuz i got it off teh dealer's website. haven't yet taken my own pics of it. hehe

    most SUVs arent trucks.

    But that's a Z71!!! it's big enough for a truck, far as i'm concerned =P

Plus, once I give it a 4'' lift, 35'' tires on 15'' wheels, supercharge it and add the new air intake, new exhaust and dual headers.... it'll be a truck =P

On the news the other day, they showed that it now costs more to drive from NY to Miami then it does to fly.

This week I'm going to start shopping for a motor scooter so I can lock my SUV in the garage, and you go out and buy an even bigger one!

The Jeep Cherokee I've had for a few years didn't get any better that 15mpg.

Sometimes, mileage just isn't an issue. hehehe. If you like the truck enough, it's a worthwhile expense. Just like what it costs to buy, own, keep, maintain, and run a boat. Ya do it cuz ya love havin a boat. 8)

    ohhh... a boat...

Agreed . I personally got my main offices at home and I only drive to the shop couple times a week so I don't need anything fancy ... the grocery and everything is next door (3 mins away).
