I agree. It should be done across the nation, not just in California.

Unfortunately the schools see the vending and soda machines as a revenue source, so probably wont happen anytime soon nationwide.

i was shocked when i came to school here at all the junk food readily available. most students walked around all day with Dr. Peppers and candy

You know this is actually something that SHOULD be national not just in CA.

As a nation, the USA is the heaviest in the world and, we get worse each and very year.

The diet industry is worth BILLIONS of a dollars each year because people are overweight and do nothing about it until its to late.
