Do Cookie Cutter Sites Make Money?

I was just talking to someone on ICQ who told me that cookie cutter sites dont make money anymore, does anyone agree with that statement?

Im personally of the beleif that any type of site can make money as long as enough traffic is sent to it.

Just wondered what the rest of you folks thought?

Sure, the odds statistically clearly show that if enough people are exposed to ANYTHING for sale, some will buy it.

That's why we're all bombarded with spam, and phishing cons, etc.

If cookie cutter sites didn't make money in adult, then why are there so many? AVS, TGP, do they make money? Cookie cutter sites are the same IMHO

I guess the better question to ask would be why not make a few quality sites instead of 20 times more cookie cutter sites if you'd make the same amount of money?
