More New Features Added To GWW

After speaking with several people over the last few months and, after getting some great feedback from them, we have decided to add a couple of new features to the GWW Directory these new features are as follows:

GWW Directory Listing Reviews.

You are now able to review each of the listings inside the GWW Directory. If you had a good experience with a company listed in the GWW Directory, let our other community members know about it, likewise, if you had a bad experience, be sure to post that also. Only by knowing all the facts about a site that we are linking to will a webmaster be able to make a solid business decision on whether they should, or shouldnt, use that company. The chances are, your feedback can help others make the right choice and, avoid them making the wrong choice.

GWW Directory Listing Ranks.

If you dont want to write a review of the listing in the GWW Directory, you are also able to 'rate' the site or service. This rating will, over the next couple of weeks, be figured in to the GWW Search algorythm which will start listing those sites and services with a better rating, higher in the GWW Directory. If a site has a good rating, it will appear above those listings with ratings of a lower value.

GWW Directory More Information Pages.

Almost every listing on the GWW Directory now has a 'more information' page, on this page you can find out more information about the listing, its current rating and, any reviews that have been added about the listing. Think of this page as your in-depth analysis of the listing, using the information contained on this page should give you a much better idea as to whether or not you should be using that company.

GWW Directory Remote Rating Boxes.

If you have added or, are going to be adding a link to the GWW Directory, you are now able to let your site visitors rate your site in the GWW Directory remotely from your site. This not only enables you to get a good ranking but, in theory, should mean you will receive more traffic from the GWW Directory itself. Remember, the higher your rating, the higher you get listed in the GWW Directory.

This is just a small fraction of the new features we are continuing to add to the GWW Community and GWW Directory over the coming weeks and months to improve your overall GWW Community experience, stay tuned because we are working on a heap of other cool features that will add to the community and, your bottom line profits.

Finally, if you notice any bugs with any of the new features mentioned above, please post about them in this thread so we can fix them, we're pretty sure they are all working 100% but as im sure you know, taking something out of beta testing in to final launch always shows something that those of us working behind the scenes has missed. Your assistance in reporting any issues as they occur is apprciated and, with your help we can keep the GWW Directory and GWW Community working at 100% :thumbsup:

Interesting changes ... not sure if the new style is good or bad as it does seem to add to the time it takes for the thread to open up and then it gives that sexy little wiggle and all looks nifty... certainly cleaner looking..:pimp:
