Need suggestions for live cam software

If you are more specific about what you are going for we can probably be more helpful. Do you want a simple slow refresh cam without sound, or a full blown audio/video strream? text only chat or text and audio chat, etc.

As far as a really simple setup that's quick to design and works well, I suggest going with webcam32, and setting it to upload through ftp. You can set the interval to instant refresh or every x seconds. You can display that on the same page as chat with ssi, javascript, or a java applet. But I prefer just an Iframe with a meta refresh, nice and easy and compatible with every platform. As far as a chat app, like I said there are a ton of variables. Do you want java, or flash? what features do you need, what price range, or free, etc.
