Windows Media Player - Is It Still Possible To Do This?

I remember a year or two ago we did some movie encoding and about half way through the clip we coded a console in to it so that when it hit a specific part of the clip, it opened a new window.

I know there were some problems continuing this method of getting traffic from the filesharing networks when Windows upgraded Media Player but i was wondering if anyone had tried this method again since there have been a few updates?

Does anyone know if it is still possible to encode consoles in to movie files so they open when played with Media Player?

    Regards,

    Lee

Haven't seen it for a long time, probably the player stops it now.
Really, really annoying form of popups - Angst provoking almost !
    - Zone Alarm-banned Media Player from the web for that reason.
