    convert mpg to wmv

I have a 50 second mpg clip I need to convert to wmv because it is way to large. (40 meg)

Without using windows movie maker. What can I download to do this. Hopefully free or limited trial.

    also try http://www.boilsoft.com/asfconverter/

or if you post the url of the video here in the next five minutes, i'll encode it for you, but after that, i'm off to bed.

Thank you for the offer but the only way I'm going to learn how to do it is by asking questions and doing it myself.

    Ok,

    I downloaded Ulead.

Was able to convert the MPEG into WMV. But I can't appear to do it without losing the sound in WMV.

I even tried Windows media encoder and Real Media Producer (rm file)

I'm stuck. Can you point me in the right direction?

Obviously I'm going to have to install more Instant messengers.

    Question:

I'm already up to MSN, Skype and Yahoo.

And I've tried Zango to bundle them all. But it was a real pain in the ass. (Almost would consider it Adware)

Is there another prog that will allow me to bundle all these messengers into one. I would like to be able to unload some of these from my system.
