Porn used as a weapon in the workplace

Every day in my news search I come across AT LEAST 10 stories of porn/child porn found on someones computer at work and them being arrested or fired.

Do you think that some, or many, of these cases the company, or someone in the workplace, is using porn as a weapon? A weapon to get someone fired or get back at a fellow employee?

It would be nice to go a day without seeing so many of these articles but it's quite obvious there is a worldwide witch hunt regarding porn in the workplace.

Do you think the time will come when employers care more about someones performance at work then they do where they surf the net on their lunch break?

I'm so glad I don't work a normal job. I couldn't handle being someones slave for 8 hours a day in an office.

i'm sure that happens sometimes, but honestly a good 60% of the men i know who work online use their company computers to surf porn. they also join paysites and spend their time at their job watching videos.

even non porn surfers do it at first. my friend jann worked at an office where they got internet, and the first thing the group of women who worked there did was type in sex.com and giggle like 10 year olds. they only spent a few minutes going "whoa!' at things they found, then got back to work, but they did still use their computer to surf porn at work. if someone had checked the cache, they'd have found it.
