it's a series set in the times of Rome
I haven't followed it but I saw a few episodes via ON Demand and tonight they had an episode on I ran accross.

It's full of sex, tottaly uncensored.

Yeah I am quite shocked how much they show. Even when the Gaivs who in real life I think is only 16 went to the whorehouse because his mother wanted him to penetrate someone he could choose to have sex with 3 girls and he could also choose from 3 guys. Its been to slow for my liking.

We caught this weeks episode because on over 400 channels there was NOTHING else on worth watching and it does seem to have picked up but, its 7 weeks in to the first season and its only just starting to look interesting now, thats damned slow for a HBO show.

I've been dissapointed with Rome. I think it is a bit slow. My roommate is a big fan oif ancient history, so we even got the DVR setup from the cable company in prepearation for Rome. And I've not really found it engaging.

Oz had much better ass shots and penis peeks. MUCH much better......

And if you like the subject of Ancient Rome, it doesn't hold a chariot to the old BBC I Claudius.

Rome is a joint production of HBO and BBC, so It would have to be freakin' good... BBC always makes great shit.

Hopefully we'll catch it here on our local HBO soon....
