Just trying to do some research on how affiliates use FHG's and whether they are beneficial to affiliate programs.

This is actually something I've been looking at.

I've had a lot of affiliates ask about them, but the really big guys shy away from sponsors that have them. It seems that the more hosted galleries that you have, the more over-saturated your product becomes and you start to suffer from "Been There Seen Him" syndrome.

I'd be interested in knowing how many people who don't already promote Fratcash would sign up if we added FHGs.

I use FHGs alot. One of the reasons is it allows me to concentrate on other things. Another is because I have a site that needs them now that I cut out all outside submissions. And there's also the space factor. Oh and lastly, if they're any good they actually work.

sure they're easy for the webmaster, all you do is slap a link with content.

But

They give away all the content. Why should I sign-up for a paysite when all I have to do is browse their galleries which with a couple minutes work can be found quite easy.

And they contain all the cock sucking, butt fucking cum eating anyone could want to get off.

I have personally tested jerking off on just FHGs from just one sponsor, not hard at all. Doesn't even require a lot of "hunting" - either change the URL on top or search the basic URL on google ie searching for "http://galleries.sponsor.com/" and many times it'd have multiple links to galleries or sponsor provided content, often with a whole series of videos from a perticular scene with anything from fucking to the money shot.

I've been planning on trying them out with Fratcash, but I think there's gonna be very little given away. Lots of stills but no video, and no money shots. Very little nudity.

But yeah, i agree with you, if we're giving the money shot away on FHG's what point is there in joining the site?

We're supposed to be 'selling' porn to surfers not giving them the stuff for free, i think a lot of people tend to forget we're in the marketing business and not the entertainment business sometimes.

Yes, we use those which other sponsors provide/offer, as well offer FHG.

Our FHG: More or less, our top marketing tool (if second, it is only to our exit consoles), because they generate the most joins. I pick the content and populate most (if not all) our FHG. When collecting images, I typically exclude newer content as well what I consider the 'best parts'/shots/images – for galleries containing 15 to 16-images, I try to provide only one cumshot (unless it is a gallery for our cumshot site), and only a couple of 'hardcore' images. However, if the content/series/shoot is older, I will use what I believe will work best.
Content used for a recent or current update will not be given out that month.
New member/s (who joined through a FHG) tend to head straight for the content or model shown in the FHG, which they joined through, and if not able to locate they contact me immediately.

Other sponsor’s FHG: Those that provide FHG with good quality (resolution and file size), well organized/in proper order are more than worth it - years later (from well organized companies) we still receive sales.
We have many free sites, populated with a lot of FHG links, and I can safely say the poor performers, 9 times out of ten, are as such because the ‘web master’ responsible did not do his/her job properly or are too cheap (low-quality thumbs or full-size images, series not properly ordered, not a real series, ugly template or gallery design and my favourite ... pathetic/insulting text). We have been going through all our free sites, deleting a ton of dog diddling links -- I am truly disgusted at how many of the links 404 or redirect, without notice from the cheating bastards (you can try and provide me with an excuse for them, however they will fall on deaf ears as any reasonable person knows there is no excuse)!


I do believe web masters are becoming lazier and expect a lot from sponsors, whom offer FHG. I am constantly asked why we do not provide descriptions or why we do not have free software for submitting, to which I reply, “we decided to give you sample thumbnails, instead”.

I think the problem is also that most of these webmasters throw as much free shit as they can to outdo the other sites in hopes of getting more surfers.
And my guess is most of these webmasters don't surf around to jerk off and see just how easy it is to get off on free porn.
