So Ive Been Surfing The Boards All Morning And..
I have to say, im seeing lots of posts on a similar range of topics, the largest collection of which being 'how do i make money from porn' or, 'im making $30 a day how do i increase this' in addition to a lot of the same questions being asked, there are also a lot of the same answers to them, buy more traffic, build more TGP's etc etc.
So with that being said, lets take a look at how you can make more money each day by following a few simple rules:
1. Treat this like a business.
Even though i have said this numerous times before on the GWW Community, a lot of people STILL dot get this simple concept. Treating your porn adventures as a business is not only going to make you more income but, its going to give you a lot more control over things. For example, how many of you keep stats of your traffic each week/month/year? How many of you print every receipt you get or, invoice you send out? What about keeping copies of checks or payment slips you receive from sponsors? This type of information, when recorded and tracked, can mean the difference between a check for $1000 a month and a check for $10,000 every month.
2. Conduct.
Your one main asset in the adult industry is your reputation, remember that whatever you do in public (on boards) can come back and haunt you at any time in the future, i realize that 'drama' seems to 'sell' these days but, if you dont know how to handle yourself, you will get burnt.. Badly. Just because everyone else goes over to GFY and creates drama, it doesnt mean you have to or, that the type of drama working for them, will work for you.
3. Have a plan.
Your goal in 'business' is to make money, to make money you need to have a plan of action. Ambling around various aspects of the adult industry aimlessly isnt going to help you at all, set specific goals for yourself each month, plan for costs involved with running your business each month, as i mentioned above, keeping track of your traffic and sales stats can help you with this and, will assist you with forward planning! That being said, Murphys Law dictates that anything that can go wrong, typically will go wrong so try to have a backup plan on hand whenever possible. Expect the worst and hope for the best
4. The 3 D's - Duplicate, Duplicate, Duplicate.
If you find something that makes you money, keep doing it, if you know that submitting to X amount of TGP's makes you $100 a week, to double your efforts you need to be creating 2 times as many galleries a week. Also, remember, he who has the traffic, has the money. If you have a group of sites, one of which is getting you 10,000 hits a day and one that is getting you 100 hits a day, is it going to be easier for you to duplicate the larger site 10 times or, the smaller site 100 times? Traffic really is easy to get if you have a plan of action.
5. Try new things regularly.
Following on from #4 above, if you have found your niche and its working well, in addition to duplicating the hell out of your sites, start learning new methods of making money, just because a site you build doesnt make you any money this month, 3 months down the line, it could do. In essence what im saying is, dont put all of your eggs in the same basket, if that basket breaks, you are screwed and you have to start all over again. If you rely on a single sponsor to make 90% of you income, you need to start expanding your list of sponsors especially with 'obscenity' being as big of an issue as it is these days.
6. Keep learning and thinking.
When the day comes when you say to yourself 'i know how this industry works inside out' you have failed, you may as well quit. There will constantly be something new cropping up in the business, a new traffic source, new niches, new sponsors, new content sources, you name it, the sky really is the limit. All it will take is for you to relax a little and someone will take your piece of the pie and, before you even know what happened, you'll be back to square one. Try to stay ahead of the game as much as possible but, at the same time, try not to lose focus on what it is YOU are doing right at the moment.
They are six simple rules for ensuring you grow your business profits and, i guarantee you that if you run your sites as a business, you will make more and more money as each month passes by.
That being said, i know a lot of you reading this will just think im blowing smoke up your asses, thats your perogative, however, if you follow only one of those pieces of advice im sure you'll start seeing results within a month or two.
