convert DVD to mpge?

I search a good software to convert DVD to mpeg.

actually I use Ulead VideoStudio 9, but get error in some DVDs.

DVDx is not only free, but very good at ripping dvds into mpegs.

I think your computer's specs have a lot to do with making good DVD rips. I have way more problems with errors on my laptop than I do on my new desktop.

now I try NERO to extract MPEG from DVD's and work very good. Very fast and with good quality mpeg

In the past, I had to remove Nero from my computer because it caused clashes with other ripping/encoding software. That was a while back... maybe things are more stable now.

I have NeroVision Express 3 and at the moment work properly ;-)
