Those Of You In To Asian Guys.. A Question..

Whats the appeal to you of them?

I dont mean to sound rude but, Asian guys do absolutely nothing for me, sexually or, more importantly, sales wise, im wondering what the attraction to Asian men is, is there something specific that gets you going about them or what?

I know a few others on GWW have had no luck marketing Asian sites so im sure some insight would help all of us

So whats the 'sell' with Asian guys? Their skin color? Hair style? Overall looks?

don't ask! , all i know is they sell well!

the 1# response ( yeah i actually asked my mil-guy's who like asian what the attraction was ) their "tight" and/or difficult to "penetrate" and nothing is more appealing than something you can't have! ( which of course would explain why everyone wants me! )
i feel very sorry for my asian models because their pretty much judged (stereotyped) before they even take off their clothes ( did you know that a couple have big-dicks and are tops? ) their also not as easy to find and very hard to keep (..."me want to go shopping!"...)
professionaly they are a nightmare to photograph , because of their delicate appearance it's hard to pull off a "rocky" photo-shoot , and how many ways can you photograph a samurai? ( they all hate that kimono fan sh*t )

i forgot to mention , the problem most have marketing "asian" is that they assume that the customer will settle for anything "asian" , unless you are attracted and/or have some knowledge of the desirable "characteristics" of asians don't count on your site selling.

Well, I've been attracted to Asians since I hit puberty. Caucasians, African Americans, and most other races RARELY interest me unless they have long hair, that seems to make me actually consider them attractive in some way.

To me, body hair is a really big turn off. And who's more hairless than the Asian population (other than Native American). I'm also driven wild by the way their eyes look. Something about their shape seems very sexual or sensual.

As I am short their height appeals to me as well. The average height of an Asain man is about 5'6"-7". I'm 5'2". Their lean bodys actually look good on them despite how skinny they are. Skinny white guys don't look so good because from what I've seen, they don't have the natural build to be skinny (mostly, not always).

Lastly, their culture is a turn on. They value education highly and I was raised to believe in lots of education. I'm also a sucker for nerdy type guys and those with more knowledge than me about subjects is a turn on. Also family is very important and thats #1 for me. Its not the same type of idea that America has were you honor thy mother and thy father. Its the ENTIRE family you honor. Even the dead ones.

So all in all their build and their culture appeals to me.

golden skin, dark hair, slender hairless bodies - what's not to like? especially an asian guy with loooong hair. a lot of asian guys are uncut, which is great for uncut fans. and don't forget a lot of non asian people think of asian people as extra smart and the last word in exotic. surely you've heard the phrase "the mysterious east".

i notice that i get better sales using the word oriental, too - it may not be pc, but it works.

plus asian eyes are copied for most depictions of elves and other magical and beautiful creatures because of the graceful shape and curves - appealing.

To me it is very basic or simple (and no different from the other things in life) ... something different from all the ordinary over marketed every day items.

I hate Hummers, Corvettes, BMW 3-series (I love b-mers and have a long history with, so that hurt), spinners, iPods, mountain bikes in the city, lowrise/hipster stuff, rear license plates and synthetic people (cosmetic surgery) etc.
You know ... Trendoid shit.

I love Citroën, Alfa, Maserati, SAAB, station wagons, diesels, black rims, San Disk players, 50's fashion, road cycles, tattoos (exclusing 'the stamp') etc.
You know ... real beauty that was not shoved down my throat by some marketing firm.

You should see how much crap I give away every year, simply because it hit the charts.

Lee, I think if you take a look at our sites and watch some of our videos, we may just convert you to a rice queen just yet. Nothing hotter then watching cute and passionate Asian men moaning and making love on film.

One thing we've found is that Asian twinks sell best to the west, but muscular Asians are most adored by other Asian guys ('sticky' rice queens). IMO a good mix of the two does best, which is what we try to offer on our sites.

I grew up in the midwest so we didnt have any Asian guys around. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I had my first experiences with Asian guys and have been hooked every since. I think all the things that Basschick said, plus some more qualities that I am not even sure I can put into words.

Just as there are some people that cannot fathom twinks but prefer mature chubby hairy guys, there are those that really prefer latinos, or those that prefer guys that look like recent parolees, there is no accounting for taste. (Although I have to say I think Asian guys taste better than white meat.)

As for sales, I have done better in gay Asian sites than any other gay niche on the net. I guess that may be due in large part to the fact we shoot all our content here in southeast Asia and Japan. Our members get exclusive content with never before seen models that is updated two times a week currently, going to daily updates starting the first of November.

I did well before when I was working primarily with straight stuff, mostly because there are so many more potential customers. But I have never experienced the member loyalty and rebill rates that we have had in this niche.

In fact, our members are very vocal through emails and constantly asking for more. As a result, we will be coming out with our first DVD in late November as well as launching a variety of new sites in 2006. I guess not many have the ability to get such content for an un-saturated market.

There are just a handful of serious gay Asian sites out there, and we have two of them. Lots of the big programs have gay Asian entrances, but you find that they have very little content in the niche and then feed you to some mega members area with other non-Asian stuff. And then there are a few sites that seem to use the same old content that has been oversold by its producers.

Some of our affiliates are reporting record sales and rebill rates of 70% or more. I guess the niche is much smaller than some others but it just goes to show that if you fill a targeted market, it can still pay off.

I can honestly say that, after living in Los Angeles for four years, I have finally cultivated a new attraction to Asian guys. But I'm also VERY picky about ALL men, no matter what color skin they have.

I can't just be attracted to a guy because he's Asian, or because he's black or Latino, or even because he's hairy or masculine, which are two traits I really like in a guy. For me, it's all about the personality and what you can find when you look in their eyes. So I don't know if I'm a really good person to answer this question for you.

But what I DO like about Asian guys specifically is that they have a very exotic look to them, which is why most guys I know who prefer black and Latino go after them. It's that "something different."

I am honestly color blind when it comes to guys, but regardless of what color you are, you have to have that something special--and rather specific--for me to be into you. Masculinity is usually a must, but as I've said before, I am also now finding myself attracted to guys who aren't as butch or as rough-and-tumble or as hairy as I thought I liked.

It's funny, but as I get older, I find that more and more of my preferences are going out the window. I no longer have any requirements for what I'm attracted to, and I thought I did. And I love it. I'm finally growing up. I only wish the rest of the narrow-minded gay community would wake up and do the same. I think we are missing out on so many opportunities when we have such specific preferences. Picky is good, but too picky is not. But I totally digress!

Anyway, back to Asians. There's also something very quiet and reserved about them. And they are very respectful of others. The men there are taught to bow to each other in show of respect. Most of the Asian guys I know here are very respectful as well.

Does anyone remember that BEAUTIFUL Asian guy in Karate Kid 2? The one Daniel went up against in the show-down? Fuck, he was SOOOOO fucking hot. I used to have such a crush on him when I was a kid. And the guy on Lost is pretty hot too. Jin. Yummy.
