Video in widescreen or normal resolution?

Do you shoot in widescreen or just normal resolution? What are your thoughts on this?

When surfing, i prefer normal resolution intead of letterbox.

No clue why, its just my preference LOL

We're going to start shooting in Wide Screen and then once the edit is done, I'm going to recapture it in 4:3 so we can offer customers either Wide Screen or Full Screen DVDs.

But for now, we're shooting in Full Screen.

But the Wide Screen test that we did looked amazing on my buddies 67 inch TV.

I love widescreen. Raging Stallion has been doing it for a while now, and it makes their videos look much better. I think it adds a cinematic tone to the movie, but I don't think you need to shoot in widescreen for everything. It's about prestige. Save widescreen for the more ambitious, artistic stuff. If you use it for everything, it doesn't have the same effect.
