Might be a great selling tool in 6 months to a year. iPod is very popular in gay people.

I mentioned in another thread that whilst there is a demand for this type of 'porn' i think, at the present time, the disadvantages of using this delivery method are going to hurt us in the long run, if porn is also given out for free on iPods, PSPs and CellPhones its going to mean even more legislation than we have now.

Not to mention, at the present time, we have no way of knowing whether someone viewing porn on those types of devices are 18+

You've mentioned this recently in another thread. But I don't see how we are doing anything to keep minors out in the conventional online porn world. I mean... anything that we do on a standard website (click here if you are over 18) can be duplicated on a cell phone or other internet connected device.

If you are suggesting that credit cards are effective at keeping minors from seeing explicit images, you are completely forgetting about hardcore tours, TGP's and Free Sites. And not to mention that many minors own credit cards.

Exactly, and look at all the flack we're getting, by taking porn offline and, in effect, in to the home of these potential underage users, who do YOU thik the 'bad guys' will be? Certainly not the parents and, certainly not the cellphone companies.

I think good idea code videos for iPod in the members area, I have DVD downlads in my site in WMV format, maybe is good in the next months also in iPod format, now people can download a wmv file and burn a DVD, other option download the iPod file.

Who said anything about giving it out for free? There are multiple ways now for cell phone users to get porn and as far as I know, none of them are free.

Creating content for users to view on their ipods or psps is certainly no more risky than having downloadable content or making dvds and videos available for sale.

Porn was available long before the net, and is certainly still available in many of the old convential methods. I just dont get all the fear around utilizing new technology as a way of delivering product. It may require some creativity to apply the same safeguards to prevent minors from accessing it, but isnt that the same challenge that came up when the internet came into being?

And as Xstr8guy pointed out, the methods we have from preventing minors accessing what we put online are not foolproof.

I've found that encoding for the Ipod is pretty darn easy. Apple built it into the newest version of Quicktime. We've already begun encoding preview clips. Our plan is to eventually encode entire scenes and sell them to customers who have an Ipod or Itunes.

iPod video format is .mov files to 320x240 ??
