An Update on Rocky's Love Life, for any who care...

Hey everyone, I just thought I would post a follow-up to my earlier post a week or two back regarding a me, a former model and falling in love.

The reason why I am back on the boards 2 weeks earlier than anticipated is because this guy who was supposedly in love with me (still is, byt the conversations we have) has decided to go back to his ex boyfriend. This ex boyfriend of his is amanipulative, abusive, flat out evil person who uses my guy for his money. He told my guy that if he moved to San Diego, he would kill himself. This is the kind of manipulative person he was with for two years.

And he bought it. Hook, line and sinker.

He has decided that he is still in love with this moron and cannot be with me until he knows for sure if they love each other, or if their love is just circumstance.

So, I am single again and none too happy about it. So I am at home, on my laptop, brooding.

There's everything in a nutshell. I would launch into further detail, but you would get bored with the soap opera semantics of it all.

But this experience gave me a new quote! This is something I said to my guy last night on the phone:

"Your heart is used to pump blood and keep you alive. Your brain is used to think and make decisions. You are thinking with the wrong organ."

i'm so sorry you are going through this i know we're all going to be just dying to give you our words of wisdom, but for now i'll just wish you well and hope you can keep your mind busy so you don't have to focus on what happened too much just yet.

most unfortunate but then you are dealing with someone who sells his body for money...ohh wait a minute , that's me!
when you had mentioned this person's past buisness experience with you i was hopeful like you that this would be different in their personal life.
i'm not going to preach to you about the do's and don'ts about dating/relationships people in the adult industry or any other industry for that matter , i've been through 3 very painful relationships with everything from emotional to financial and there is no "manual" on how people operate and/or can "turn" suddenly.
just be thankful that you learned early-on before you bought some serious emotional stock into this person just to find out after 6 years it isn't worth sh*t.

Yikes. Sorry to hear that Rocky. I don't mean to make it worse, but I am not shocked. He wasn't very stable at all. It is probably for the best actually. When he worked for me, I fired him for a reason. Then he went to work for you and you fired him for a reason as well. Sorry to hear that babe, but better now then later.

I would be interested in hearing more if you are comfortable sharing it. This is nice to read something other then work for once, but something for real that we all deal with or have dealt with in our lives.

Rocky, that really sucks. I'm so sorry to hear it. You're such a handsom boy from the looks of your avatar. Perhaps if you post a bunch of pics of you here. You know, in various states of undress. I'm sure that would help.

I had the same thing happen to me. I don't know that the guy's ex was manipulative and abusive, but my guy went back to his ex with no warning. I was pretty bummed about it. Things had been going SO well for us too, with NO indication that anything was wrong. I know that I can't compete with the 8-year-long relationship he has with his ex, but it's still impossible not to get bummed out and upset over it. When you truly connect with someone in that manner, to have it ripped away is like a sort of shock to the system. And I just don't deal very well with breakups. So good luck to you.

Thanks guys. It is going to take time to med this broken heart, but I really do appreciate your concern. It is nice to know that even in this business, you can still relyon your collegues and friends when things look down.

Maybe you didn't read my post, Zac... he was an ex-model. He hasn't worked for me in well over a year. We never dated while he worked for me because that would have been unethical.

Which also poses these questions:

Should you ignore true happiness with the person you love if they just-so-happen to work for you or HAVE worked for you in the past?

Should you deny yourself the chance at lifelong happiness and true love just because someone answered an ad to make some extra cash?

Should two people who are made for each other go their seperate ways and always wonder "what could have been" just because one is a model and one owns the company?

Why would you deny true love for something so frivolous as more content for your website?

Answer this question: What would any of you do if Mr. Right walked into your life, but you did not realize it until he was working for you right under your nose?

Love isn't created, it just happens. It is something that we cannot control, and you never know when it is going to hit... whether that person is a model or not.
