My former roommate Jen and I are having breakfast, seeing the new Harry Potter movie, having a vegetarian dinner, and getting drunk of our asses.

Wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving.

Happy thanksgiving to everyone. That is one of the few holidays that does not get celebrated here at all. It baffles my folks each year when they ask about it and I tell them that the Pilgims and the Indians were an american phenomona and doesnt carry round the world.

Thanksgiving was always a magical time when I was a kid, going to grandma's for the dinner and then waiting for Santa to appear in the Macy's parade, I dont really miss being around so many family members on the day, but it sure would be nice to get some of that good home cooking back.

I did a big dinner here a few years ago on the day and invited some expat friends, maybe I should do that again for the next one. That's about the only way I will get those foods, if I make them. I have checked but not been able to find any nice hotels that have a t-day buffet, that sounds nice and so much less work.

Traditional American Thanksgiving here, with family. Bf and I have tickets to see "Wicked" in St. Louis on Saturday... and we might go to the casino for a couple of hours. Pretty much just relaxing... maybe catching up on a little work... and truly being thankful for being able to work (and be happy) in a great industry, with a lot of my friends here at GWW. Happy T-Day to all.
