Gobble, Gobble, Gobble - What Are You Doing For ThanksGiving?

Just wondered what you folks were going to be doing tomorrow for ThanksGiving?

We're heading over to mom + dads tomorrow like we normally do with the rest of the family, some of whom have driven down from New York for ThanksGiving dinner again hehe.

We're ding the dessrts again this year so its going to be a massive feast followed by a massive pile of desserts, Trifle, Coconut Pie, Pumpkin Pie, KeyLime, Pie the works LOL

So what are the rest of you doing tomorrow?

    Regards,

    Lee

My former roommate Jen and I are having breakfast, seeing the new Harry Potter movie, having a vegetarian dinner, and getting drunk of our asses.

Wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving.

Happy thanksgiving to everyone. That is one of the few holidays that does not get celebrated here at all. It baffles my folks each year when they ask about it and I tell them that the Pilgims and the Indians were an american phenomona and doesnt carry round the world.

Thanksgiving was always a magical time when I was a kid, going to grandma's for the dinner and then waiting for Santa to appear in the Macy's parade, I dont really miss being around so many family members on the day, but it sure would be nice to get some of that good home cooking back.

I did a big dinner here a few years ago on the day and invited some expat friends, maybe I should do that again for the next one. That's about the only way I will get those foods, if I make them. I have checked but not been able to find any nice hotels that have a t-day buffet, that sounds nice and so much less work.

Traditional American Thanksgiving here, with family. Bf and I have tickets to see "Wicked" in St. Louis on Saturday... and we might go to the casino for a couple of hours. Pretty much just relaxing... maybe catching up on a little work... and truly being thankful for being able to work (and be happy) in a great industry, with a lot of my friends here at GWW. Happy T-Day to all.

Well my roommate bought beer and lottery tickets instead of a turkey last night so it looks like I'll be doing a whole lot of nothing. It's nice and peaceful here so I'll probably write music all day and wish I had a fat blunt.

Me and my parents are going to Cracker Barrel for their Thanksgiving Dinner. As mom drove up to visit us while on her break from Law School we didn't want her to have to cook. Also her finals are next week so she didn't need the extra stress.

NOW GIMMIE THAT PUMPKIN PIE!! *salivates and holds fork like a knife, in her other hand, a bowl of Cool Whip*

Well we have hi winds and a lot of snow and ice all of a sudden, and the wife has to work for part of the afternoon and early evening, so we will be having a late dinner once she's back home.

I will be cooking off some turkey thighs with dressing and gravy, bake a couple sweet potatoes, noodles and probably corn or green beans. There's slices of Dutch apple and coconut custard pies on hand for dessert. Che' already ate the pumpkin ones :chicken:

This is the time when I give thanks to all the cbl boys and I cook the thanksgiving meal for them all.

25 pound turkey, roast potatoes, sweet potato cassorole, corn, broccolli, yourkshire puddings, , gravy. with apple crumble and vanilla ice cream to finish

I started the day off baking muffins for them all and coffee.

I am thankfull for the fact that we have a nice house and money to be able to cook a thanksgiving meal
