Blog software or possible other solution

I'm looking for something where I can post some of my old magazine articles, internet rants and chapters for new internet only book.

I was just going to do some text html pages with main page linking each sub-section. But I can see that get very messy very fast.

I'm doing this free of charge and I was wondering if there is any resource out there that will let me do it without paying an arm for it.

And you need to reduce the size of your sig to a 120x60 button and up to 3 lines of text instead of that Full Page Ad you have presently!

Lee beat me to it. WordPress is a cool program. It is really easy to install and the templates are easy to edit. You can also find some other programs at SourceForge.

I use wordpress and love it - definitely recommend it.

I'm actually in the process of redesigning my members homepage (I run 4 sites) and I'm attempting it using wordpress and then using rss feeds on each site.

Plan is that I will have 1 members update area (my definition of a members homepage is somewhere that I can comment on new content and updates on a 3 times a week basis). I'll post more details of this in its own threat when I turn it on.
