are you talking about starting your own tgp like freshloads.com or posting galleries? there's a HUGE difference in bandwidth between the two...

since you were asking about tgp site scripts in the hosting forum, I am assuming you are talking about the bandwidth needed to run a thumb tgp site. Lets assume you buy some initial traffic and manage to get it up to about 5000 visits a day, with a half decent amount of thumbs plus your archive pages, you would probably be looking at about 50G traffic per month.

If you also create your own galleries and submit them to various other TGP sites (with your own recip button as one of the 3 links so you can get some traffic leaks too) then doing one gallery a day, 5 days a week, you should be able to get 25,000-30,000 hits to your galleries a day so aim for about 300-500G per month traffic.

those are just rough estimates, if you work really hard you can massively exceed them but if you can also sit back and get next to no traffic too :specs:

text tgps use a lot less bandwidth and load faster. they also send better quality hits to the galleries IF the descriptions are accurate but hot. the only problem with them is that it's getting harder to find trades for them as so many people are going with thumb preview tgps - they're faster to grow.

I tried TGP galleries last 2 months and I used tons of bandwidth... it was just horrible... especially if you don't have hotlinking protection...Your galleries will suddenly appear all over chinese boards...
