2005 - The Year That Was...

So what have been your most memorable parts of 2005 so far?

I think the one thing that stands out in everyones minds are the new (still in limbo) 2257 regulations which, dont show any sign of getting a resolve this side of the New Year.

The one positive thing to have happened this year is that, despite all the doom and gloom we were told at the start of '04 the whole 'Visa' issue hasnt really had any significant knock-on effect and, if anything, its become just another part of doing business in the adult industry.

We've also had a couple of other technological advances in the last year namely, porn on the go via iPods, PSPs and other hand held devices.

Other than the 2257 stuff, what has been your most memorable part of 2005? Good and bad?

In general I found that 2005 has been a bad year for me. Sorry to say that. It seems that what ever could go wrong has.
The worst, my van blowing up, 2257, and not having enough time for my lover. Not to leave out poor sales this year. Also found out my day job is moving so I’ll be unemployed by April of next year. The best, making some really cool people here, like CJ, or Bec. They always make me smile.

2005 -- the year that turned things around for the better for me.

Business wise and personal wise, 2005 has been Awesome! Just so many things finally clicking into place.

sales were great this year. Up 600% from last year. Enough to help my gf and I buy a house together.

Now since I bought a house I am poor again. But at least I am no longer renting!

The 2257 was a big headache but all is well. I will keep going, setting goals and meeting some great people.

not much happening for me, only selling off my life's posessions and moving 1/2 way around the world to a country that I can't speak the official language of yet...oh yeah and opening up the new netherlands hosting and massively growing. yup, pretty quiet

the most memorable for me is moving from Philippiines to the US for work.

For me a HUGE shake up in the first quarter. Then making myself gets things in proper and more professional order.

Mid year cash flow issues I think are over shadowed by steps forward. Really looking forward to 06.
