Ok, so I am looking for some thoughts, opinions, bad language, etc...

If you were to receive a nice sum of money, say $100,000, and HAD to invest it into your current adult business:

- What would you do with the money?
- How would you expand your business?
- Would you even want to invest that into your current adult business?

If i had to, id start a mainstream/adult crossover business.

Really easy to do with the right planning and you wouldnt need 100k to do it either

There is a lot of profit to be made selling supplements, pharmacy products, extension kits, dating and all that kind of stuff

Take supplements as an example, you can buy a case of 48 herbal products for $10 per case, online retail prices range from $30-$70 per bottle of pills, you sell 1 bottle, you are immediately in profit even if you offer affilaites a 75% cut

If you are talking about 'porn' specifically, a good aff program is definately the way to go, as long as, you have traffic to feed it with new affiliates each day and sites that convert well

Well, if you're handing out loot then I can think of plenty of things that need upgrading (hosting could probably do with a better option), paid for, (lots of bills need paying) and invested in, (advertising for existing sites and perhaps I would be interested in starting a couple of paysites in narrow niches and have an affiliate program attached to it of course). A part-time helper would be handy too.

However, I would prefer to invest the bulk of it into something that is less adult and more mainstream; I've got a few ideas for this but it's not something I'm going to talk openly about.

I think 100K is a bit over the top, you can become very successful in the adult industry for a lot less than that if you know how to work your money. Want more info?...just PM me for my bank wire details

Personally, I'd put it anywhere but adult...someplace where the feds don't like to sniff around as much...say some real estate, development opportunities in your own back yard...Chevy Chase. Bethesda and Potomac, MD hold their own over time...right?

i'd pay for a year of good hosting on two different hosts, put aside a big chunk for adwords, get a dedicated studio for 3 months and shoot exclusive content for 3 - 5 non nude but sexy sites, get a full time designer for 3 months (and i know just who!)... get another dedicated video computer...

once the sites were out, some print ads might be nice, but i'd have to spend time figuring this out, and it's purely theoretical right now.

I think I'd spend it setting up a high-end production studio. Good sets and lots of gear.. spend a fortune making really good content and starting a website that was the on-line version of the movies.

Hmmm, that much money? Well, I'd take a story I've had in the works for awhile now and try to get it produced into a movie. I don't know if that would cover it all, may have to take out a loan to cover extra expenses.
