    Scams Fraud From Nigeria

i sold something on the internet and i keep wondering if my money would ever come still not here

so i called Bidpay today and they said my bid pay number does not exist in their system

it look like their is allot of fraud happening in Nigeria .. those fuckers it cost me 230$ bucks to ship this iteam and i get nothing back no money so i hope tommorrow when i call the post office they will cancel the shipping and bring back my iteam

i know that my iteam has not left montreal yet so i don't think it will be in Nigeria by morning i hope the post office will cancel the shipping and send back my iteam i sent out a very expensive digital camera

what a piss off fucking scam artist out there Bidpay said Nigeria is one of the wort for fraud sending me fake emails with payments sent to me..

and they keep asking for comfirmation with fake emails about me scanning the proof of that i ship the iteam out.. hahah

Wow, really sorry you got scammed... the Nigerians are notorious, and nobody seems to give much of a damn about them. If the post office had their act together, they should have warned you... there are notices at a lot of shipping places here in the US.

The other scam to watch out for is one where the scammer sends you a certified check from way far away for more than the amount of the purchase... they have you deposit the check, then wire them the difference between the item you're selling and the amount of the check... then the check comes back 10 days later as fraudulent and your bank charges you back, so you're left without your item AND a big overdraft from your bank.

I've gotten pretty conservative about almost any foreign transaction... we've seen a bunch of stuff happen with orders to Europe, and our processor has told us horror stories about transactions from the Netherlands, Russia, and other places. Too bad people can't just work and earn an honest dollar.
