Is there really any difference between using Hunk vs Stud description for sets or category listings? How would you define them?

for me personally...hunk tends to imply more of a muscle guy whereas stud seems a little more of....how should i say....
tough. of course, neither is mutually exclusive of the other.
let me try to illustrate:
hunk:
stud:
sorry, i love antonio too much to pass up this op:
Feh. He's not a hunk, he's a sellout.Originally posted by 123Jason

Gimme hairy any day over .. that
I always tended to think of hunks as posers and studs as fuckers, as in "stud for hire."

According to http://www.brainydictionary.com
Hunks - (n.) A covetous, sordid man; a miser; a niggard.
Stud (the only one I liked from the list)
(n.) A kind of nail with a large head, used chiefly for ornament; an ornamental knob; a boss.
Studs is more a word that I use when thinking about guys I would say. Hunk to me sounds more like what an older person would call a stud. (my 2cents)
You'll get more with a kind word and a 2 by 4 then you'll get with just a kind word.

in my mind I would boil it down to:
a HUNK is muscly and not necessarily endowed downstairs
a STUD is endowed downstairs... and probably where you are more
likely to find "The Legacy" - - - in the apartment - - - downstairs...
LOL....

p.s.
HUNK = muscles
STUD = wood on command
Appreciate all the replies so far -- that does help!
... and now I know where to look for The Legacy if I need him :groovy:
Hunk vs. Stud...
Hmmm, I'm neither. :umm:
Awww Don, your always a stud in my book!

boyz... no
MEN... HELL YES!!! Woof!
sorry to change the subject...but why the hell do so many gay men type "woof!" online? I've noticed it's usually the kind of guys who are the opposite of the "fab five" type, but what does it mean? That you can lick your own balls or what? "I like guys who are as ugly as dogs" maybe? I don't like men who are pigs, but I'm going to start typing Oink! on every message board and see if that catches on...
