Just curious as to how those of you who do your own content / shoots go about finding the models you use?
Village voice is what we have used a few times as well as the Adult Employment sites but the response isnt as good as it could be.
So anyone have suggestions on where to find some new models?

my partner and i write ads and put them in the local alternative paper where he lives. we hear from at least 3 models per week who actually make appointment, although we hear from at least 10 guys per week. 1:4 who make appointments are no shows, and of the ones that show, we've had an 80% success with erection rate, which is MUCH higher than when we used modeling agencies - the agency guys were more like 10% erection success. go figure!
if you ever need models in montreal, let me knowmost of these guys are probably one time only guys, but a few are ready to do more.

Lee, when I look for models I always ask Studios that I know and I get pictures and video content. (One perks in having a background in vhs/dvd distribution I guess.)
PatAndSam Productions, Hot Latin Productions are ones that I know will shoot only top qualiety guys for custom shoots.
If you want me to hook you up with them shoot me over an email with what you want and type guys and I'll get you in touch with them.
You'll get more with a kind word and a 2 by 4 then you'll get with just a kind word.

It's weird, i just have a conversation with Bec on that subject and Bec and i are trying to put something together and come up with a solution.
We used to shoot some gay content a while back. We know lots of people at the clubs here in Dallas so it wasn't hard to get people, it was harder to pick though.
Also ads in gay.com worked great, when you don't get kicked off.
I'm curious about this myself.

We placed an ad recently in a local underground paper we're getting a fair number of responses already. Thanks for the feedback on that!

Ewww...i've been to the Dayton blood bank (when I couldn't pay rent, which was often), what the hell kind of guys did you find there? I was afraid to touch anything, and the guys were all ugly as sin, smelly, and toothless everytime. Is there really a market for that?Originally posted by Bell
