    Las Vegas Age Requirement

Hoping I can find some quick help. Age Requirement? What is the age requirement for the parties. I know of course Gypsies you have to be 21, but the private parties. Is it just 18 and older. Help please am hoping to bring along someone special if the age factor doesn't get in the way.

The stated age for all the parties is 21. In practice, if someone is under 21, other than at Gypsy (and dunno about the b-unit party) most likely no one will raise a big stink -- there usually isn't ID checking - although none of the sponsors to a party will publically admit to that

Now of course if someone under 21 gets in, gets trashed, and makes a scene, it *will* cause a problem and could potentially have negative effects for everyone -- forcing the party sponsors to actually be strict about ID -- so hopefully anyone under age will be responsible about things.

I know the casinos are pretty vigilant about keeping the Under 21's out of the gaming areas; I have seen them pounce on an underage gambler like a running back on a fumbled football.

I think that any event not held in a private room could have someone at the door or inside checking to make sure everyone [or at least everyone drinking] is 21. Gypsies checks ID's better than airport security.

Chip is right about keeping control--someone under 21 at a private party should not have a problem having a few, but getting drunk and breaking something expensive would not only put everyone in a bad light, but the people at the party [and those that hear about it later] will always remember you as "that drunk underage guy that fucked up at the ____party" which is notoriously bad for credibility!:dunce:

For the GWB events you have to be 21 to drink as the barkeep will be checking ID's and you must be no younger than 18 or hotel security wont let you in the elevators at our request

casinos and bars are very strict about the 21+ age requirement. my personal experience with private parties is that as long as the person is at least 18 and doesn't cause a scene, nobody asks for ID.

i'm also more than willing to donate 10 years of my age for anyone that needs to make it to 21. hehe

As long as you look 18 you shouldnt have a problem in lv getting in to clubs and such but to drink you got to be 21 years old unless you are in a private enviroment and then im sure the party organizers arent going to care one way or the other.

We all know for certain that young men under the age of 21 always act responsibly at parties especially when alcohol is served. There will definitely be no problems. :mental:
