Help me choose colors?

Hey folks!

For a fag, I'm a horrible "designer". If Geranimals made adult clothes, they'd be the ones I'd buy cuz I just don't know what colors go together.

With that sad note, I'm reaching out to others for input on what colors to choose on my new site design. Ideally I would like a "professional yet welcoming feeling" of colors for the background and links. Some shade of purple for the general area backgrounds is my preference.

okay.....I LIKE the purple....the only thing is you will have to work some control on the banners....that red one may have burned out my rods / cones..
i like the logo but could be a bit bigger and not sure what that image is off to the right...

Overall, I like the fact that it is a unique combo...folks will remember it for sure
