Hi everyone. Jasun was just in an accident. He's okay and he's home recouperating. It seems that someone sideswiped his bike, sending him flying onto the pavement. He landed on his face and skidded down the road before his bike landed on top of him. Thank God he was wearing his helmet! They said they were amazed that he was in such a bad accident but that he was up and joking around with the medics. In fact, typical Jasun, he didn't want to go to the ER but they made him. LOL!

At any rate, he's got a sprained wrist, scraped up knee, bumps and bruises and his jaw is messed up. And the bike it totalled. He's a little freaked out right now but some friends are at his place with him. I'm sure he could use some friendly IM's and emails to help him feel better. He wanted me to tell you all he's okay and that he may be off of work for a few days to recouperate.

ACK! That's terrible. Motorcycles are so dangerous. My uncle and cousin both died while riding them, and neither time it was their fault.

So glad to hear that he is OK. Please give him my best wishes!!!

I think he needs to consider switching from a bike to a car, this seems to happen a lot to Jasun

Did he try to pick up one of the paramedics?

yeah./.. my bike and i did our very best mary-lou retton impresssion and went cartwheeling down the street.

My bike is in splinters.

I'm just banged and bruised.

But i'll be fine in a few days once I've had the chance to heal.

thanks guys... i'll be causing havoc in the streets again in no time.

but i'll never get a car.

and yes.. the paramedics were hot.

but one of them is a clown in the kids ward on weekends.. so.. didn't get his #

Oh you poor thing! I'm always worried about you and that bike. I'm relieved to hear that you only suffered relatively minor injuries.

And what did you mean by the clown comment?

OMG! I'm glad you are ok Jasun! I am always on the look out for bikes so I don't hit them and I'm forever careful to keep nearly two car lengths between myself and one infront of me.

gosh i'm glad that you're OK!!

i've been thinking of getting a bike myself...since trying to find parking is nearly impossible here in San Francisco...this might make me re-think my decision...plus, i don't really think i'm butch enough to ride a bike.

I can't see you on the back of a bike anymore than I could see me, heh heh. However, I could see you scooting around the hills of San Fran in a cute little Vespa.
