    setting server time to GMT/UTC

    i want to set the time and date on my linux server to be synched with GMT/UTC. anyone know how to do this?

    Gmt

    What machine are you running?
    Linux?
    Windows?

    And just a small warning...

    Your file and email dates may appear really odd....
    And most people will not know what their offset is (california is -8)

    You just need to find an NTP server set to GMT, and then point your server's NTP synch to that server.
