i want to set the time and date on my linux server to be synched with GMT/UTC. anyone know how to do this?
thanks.
What machine are you running?
Linux?
Windows?
And just a small warning...
Your file and email dates may appear really odd....
And most people will not know what their offset is (california is -8)

You just need to find an NTP server set to GMT, and then point your server's NTP synch to that server.
Here's a list of public NTP servers
