Thinking about adding affiliate program ?

I'm thinking about adding an affiliate program to my site Huskyhunks.com. The site sells really well and retains members at an exceptional rate. If I added an affiliate program, would anyone be interested in promoting the site. I would use Verotel to administer the program. I see no reason to add one unless there are at least a few webmasters interested. Thanks for you input !

I checked your site to consider promoting it, but I saw the phrase " jizzed up holes" in your descriptions. If that means barebacking, I will have to pass on it.

My site tells it like it is, just like I do. What goes inside is what goes on in the world out there. Yes, people bareback, and yes, I have videos and images of that. I will never censor my content. It is honest, and it is real, and yes it's raw at times.

I'm somewhat of a loose cannon and definitely do not play the brown nose game to get affiliates or anything else for that matter.

Dart, I'm glad you expressed your interest. I'll be working on getting some marketing material made or I may make it myself :thumbsup:

Hi Mike,

The conversions are really good. Something like 1:30 but keep in mind that I only get around 200 uniques a day and alot of the sales are from former members.

I haven't promoted the site in 6 months and the membership base is still growing at a steady pace. That is more of a testament to the great retention rate that is characteristic of niche sites like Huskyhunks.

I would promote it, but are you serious about having an affiliate program? Because I don't want to put up a bunch of codes just to tear them down in a couple of months.

I'm pretty sure xstr8guy would promote it, too.

Yes, I could try promoting it. But like D-bear, I have reservations about your commitment. You have been unfocused in the past... going back-and-forth about HH... thinking about quitting, changing the format, going with AVS, going back to Paysite, etc. I do understand that is you perogative to do what you want with your site but as an affiliate, I like stability.

I was way too reactionary last year. I finally had to let the dust settle these last 6 months and while waiting the outcome of 2257, I've put more into this new version than in the prior 6 years put together. I want to take Huskyhunks to the next level. There's lots of new original content added plus I have lots more for the next few months updates. In the past, I've taken too much of a hobbyist approach. I've changed that to all business now.

You said you're getting about 200 unique visitors a day. I'm sure if you offered an affiliate program offering at least 50% you would see your uniques hit 10,000+ almost overnight. Do the math. Its a win/win situation

I remember your pm. Hope your list is doing well for you.

It's pretty amazing that I could even survive on 200 a day but I've been doing really well for years on that kind of traffic. Still, I always wondered how well I would do if I made my site better and really put the effort into an affiliate program.

I will be offering a 50/50 recurring program and will probably raise the price from $19.95 to $24.95 per month to cover the extra bandwith that will go up for sure. It will also make the payout a little more attractive as well.
