Has this ever happened to you?

I'm trying to write a review about Sean Cody. I have a valid password. I click a video I want to watch, it downloads, Media Player opens, MP says it needs to upgrade, I say "go ahead," then it says it needs to get license information but it can't because the license server is down.

I'd write Sean Cody, but they're not real quick in replying to my e-mails. So this will probably be faster.

this has happened to me - i had to wait overnight to review one site because their drm provider's server was down so long.

it's one of the main problems i have with drm, and a great way to piss off new members.

okay, so it's the site's DRM server and nothing to do with Media Player. Thanks for the information, basschick. I've already waited over night and the membership expires at midnight, so there's nothing I can do about it.

I had a client using DRM, he gave me a very long list of problems with it and then an even longer list of websites that show surfers how to hack it and get around the DRM protection. After he used it for about a year, he has now unprotected all his content and has given up on it.
