Do you send 1099's to leased content providers?

I wanted to get some opinions on this. Do you send 1099's to your leased content providers?

    Thanks,

Are you paying them money for a service? If you answer yes, 1099 'em. Except lawyers. We hate 1099's

What is 1099 or when does it occur?
Found this description: "90-99: RECEIVE PHASE C HANGUP CODES"

Prepare a 1099 for anyone you pay more than $600 during the year.

And remember that all of those models you really want to be independent contractors are really employees.

If memory serves, you don't have to 1099 corporations. So if your leased content provider is a corporation and not an LLC, partnership, or sole proprietorship, you probably do not have to 1099 them. Of course, only your hairdresser knows for sure

You are right Chip I asked my accountant about this today and confirmed it. Most leased content providers are incorporated so this makes alot less work for me.
