Porn on your iPod -- Who's Doing It???

OK, so we over here at AVN Online are always writing about how the move toward mobile entertainment is taking over the world, but I thought I'd pose this question here to find out who's really on this bangwagon.

Do any of you watch porn on your video iPods??? If so, where do you get the best content from? What are the best sites?

And do you think that video iPod porn is REALLY the wave of the future, or is that just something people like to say in press releases? Obviously, mobile porn has taken over the markets in Europe and Asia, but I'm talking about America -- land of the UN-free, where sexuality is repressed and gays tend to cheat on their wives with cowboys instead of coming out of the closet. (Haha, couldn't resist. But you'd be surprised how many gay men in rural areas are STILL getting married and playing on the side.)

Anyway, what's you opinion? Is mobile porn taking over? And where's the best place to get it?

We're working on a gay ipod porn site at the present time but, in all honesty, we're only doing it because it seems to be the latest fad in the industry and, i really dont see any long-term profits being made from this new delivery method.

I figure as we have the content already, we may as well maximize its sales potential.

As for me personally, id never watch porn on an ipod or cellphone, why would i when we have 2 dvd players and 5 pcs in the office, not to mention, i look at naked guys all day long with work, porn really doesnt do much for me anymore LOL

My personal opinion, I think it is a phase and it will die off as soon as something bigger comes along.

I think they are good for marketing tools or a value added service. I'm not sure about building a whole site on it like topbucks has. It might work.

I have the whole first season of "Lost", about 40 music videos, and plenty of porn. Its my favorite gadget and I can't believe how much I love it. I, personally, don't think its a fad. I don't have an addictive personality, but I'm hooked on mine.

The Fratmen Podcast is one of the coolest things that we do, actually.

We give previews of new models, we show out takes and deleted scenes, we do little movies with the models (Like one with me teaching Toby how to ride my motorcycle) and even have little interview clips with the models..

Members love it, and even non-members... it's free. Every time you plug in your ipod or open itunes, the newest episode will download.. it's been a great way of showing off how amazing our content is, and it's a way of letting members know what's going on behind the scenes and what's coming up.

I downloaded my favorite episodes of "The Office" (the American version, which is fucking BRILLIANT) onto my iPod and I watch them when I'm stuck in a long line at the bank or at the post office. They help pass the time.But I doubt that I'll put very much porn onto mine.

First of all, porn trailers bore the crap out of me. Damn it, I want the real action, not 2-minute trailers that cut away from the good stuff just as it's getting started. And most sex scenes in porn movies are way too long for watching on iPods too. I think it would rock if people started actually making five-minute sex scenes that were made exclusively for mobile use. Like the way sex scenes used to be in the '70s, when the guys would come in REAL time, instead of looped porn time.

That's a great idea. I should start doing that. Might be a good way for me to start getting my name out there as a porn director.
